On Sunday, the Green Party issued the following statement: “Following public allegations against a member of the Green Party, we would like to inform you that we have suspended him as a member of the party. Party authorities have begun an investigation process. This type of behavior is unacceptable.” I read it.
Justyna Wojcieławska, a Green Party member from Lodz, stressed that her party will not hide the issue. “The secretary has been suspended from membership with immediate effect. The allegations will be investigated,” the politician announced.
The Green activist is said to have written a letter to a 17-year-old girl. “He was well aware that I was underage.”
This concerns a message allegedly sent to a 17-year-old Internet user by one of the party activists in Grodzhsk Voivodeship (Masovian Voivodeship). The teenager placed an ad in a group specializing in job searches for students in Warsaw and the surrounding area.
Green activists were among those who responded. The suspect allegedly offered the teenager 100 zlotys for sex. The girl warned about the whole situation in an entry open to the public.
The published entry reads: “A man asked me in a comment (…) to write a letter about work. (…) He was well aware that I was underage.''
“I am writing this to warn other young people in this group. Be careful and never trust anyone who offers you help or work. This behavior is disgusting and more importantly Most of all, it's illegal. Let's keep each other safe and help each other so that no one else has to go through this again.”
