As announced earlier this month, Holland America Line's summer 2026 European deployment will include four ships.
The program will feature two of the company's newest and largest ships, the Rotterdam and the Nieuw Statendam, which will sail to Northern Europe.

Four ships – Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam – visit destinations in Northern Europe and the Atlantic (including the Canary Islands), Oosterdam offers summer programs in the Mediterranean, and Zuiderdam makes its “Legendary Voyages” from Boston to Northern Europe and the Arctic and back.
6 Transatlantic Cruises – In March and April, the Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam will be sailing across the Atlantic from Fort Lauderdale to Rotterdam on 14-day cruises. The Oosterdam will be sailing from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona on a 14-day itinerary.
In October and November, the Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam and Oosterdam will sail 14- and 15-day cruises, respectively, to Fort Lauderdale via Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
Six “celestial cruises” – including three solar eclipse cruises across Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, two Northern Lights cruises and one summer solstice trans-Arctic cruise.
There are 11 departure cities – Rotterdam and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Barcelona in Spain, Boston in Massachusetts, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Trieste (Venice) in Italy, Dover in the UK, Lisbon in Portugal, Piraeus (Athens) in Greece, Reykjavik in Iceland, and Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
12 overnight ports of call – Alexandria in Egypt, Alta and Oslo in Norway, Barcelona in Spain, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples and Trieste (Venice) in Italy, Greenock (Glasgow) in Scotland, Haifa in Israel, Istanbul in Turkey, South Queensferry (Edinburgh) in Scotland and Valletta in Malta.
19 late night departure cities (10pm to midnight) – Ålesund and Trondheim in Norway, Alexandria in Egypt, Belfast in Northern Ireland, Civitavecchia in Rome, Greenock in Glasgow, Dubrovnik in Croatia, Halifax in Nova Scotia in Canada, Istanbul in Germany, Kiel in Hamburg and Warnemunde in Berlin, Liverpool in the UK, Mykonos and Rhodes in Greece, Reykjavik, Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, South Queensferry in Edinburgh, St. John's in Newfoundland in Canada and Tallinn in Estonia.
35 Countries – The season will visit more than 35 destinations, giving guests the opportunity to visit more than 175 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Numerous non-repeating itineraries – Holland America’s summer programming in Europe also features a series of “Collector’s Voyages.” According to the company, these voyages combine two seven-day itineraries, a seven-day and a 14-day cruise, or two longer non-repeating voyages into a continuous itinerary of up to 42 days.
