Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his family were scheduled to go to India for a several-week vacation, but it was not officially announced, Hungarian media reported. However, articles about the politician’s exotic travels were published in local newspapers, thanks to which public opinion in Budapest and beyond became aware of them.
Hungarian website HVG.hu said: “There is no sign on Facebook or TikTok that Viktor Orbán spent his winter holidays in India, but new details about his personal travels have been published in a local newspaper.” It was reported. Since Saturday, Indian media have reported details of further allegations regarding the politician’s personal travels. They specifically appear as follows: It reports on sightseeing trips taken by the Orbán family in a group of electric tuk-tuks (auto-rickshaws). They were to visit: Local monuments of Kochi city such as Mattancherry Palace, Synagogue, Fort and Santa Cruz Church also known as Kotta Palli.

The newspaper also contacted a local driver who allegedly had the opportunity to transport the Hungarian leader. Local reports also revealed where Viktor Orbán, his wife, two daughters and his “five members of his entourage” were supposed to be staying. This was brought to the attention of Hungarian independent lawmaker Akos Hadaj, who published an estimate of how much such accommodation would cost.
