The validity of the election is confirmed by the Supreme Court. If he finds them invalid, according to the constitution, the election should be reorganized. Consideration of this issue is the duty of the Chamber of Public Works and Emergency Control, but it includes the so-called. neo-judges whose status is questioned in the light of the judgments of European tribunals.
– Whether I was a candidate for the presidency or not, I will spend this day with my family in spiritual contemplation, – said Karol Nawrocki, president of the Institute of National Remembrance and presidential candidate for law and justice, who was in Gdańsk about Epiphany in trip of three kings.
– This presidency of Mr. Nawrocki may be much worse than the presidency of Andrzej Duda, – warns Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense.
The Polish People’s Party did not nominate its own candidate in this election, but supported the candidacy of Shymon Kholunia. – Without the good results of Shimon Holounia, PSL will not have a strong position. Without a good result of our candidate, there will be no change in Poland, – says Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamys.
The problem with the Supreme Court chamber
The main theme of the campaign will undoubtedly remain safety. Jarosław Kaczynski, who ended his political friendship with Beata Szydlo, wants prices to be the number one issue.
– He was away. Nawrocki’s campaign is not a breakthrough, so we are looking for figures who have positive relations with the first PiS government, explains Michal Szczerba, MP of the Civic Alliance.
– Perhaps a lot of money will be spent on him, and in the end he (Karol Navrotsky – editor’s note) will have to be replaced. If it was Szydlo, it would be a surprising moment of the campaign, says Anita Kucharska-Dziedzic, a left-wing MP.

The Marshal of the Seimas should announce the election day in mid-January. The collection of signatures and the registration of the names of all candidates will begin.
Only one thing is certain about the presidential elections: they will take place. It is not yet clear whether they are valid or not, as the decisions are made by an informal panel of the Supreme Court. This is primarily a legal challenge, supported by Law and Justice, which created the Supreme Court’s illegal and unrecognized Emergency Control and Public Affairs Chamber. It is composed of judges nominated by the National Council of the Political Court.
– I think that even those people who are not judges, but sit in the new chambers, have a simple sense of responsibility for their actions – explains Michal Scherba, a representative of the European Union from the Civil Alliance.
What if the PiS candidate loses?
If election challenges reach the Supreme Court after an election—and they always do—the court can decide that the election must be repeated.
– The decision of the Supreme Court on the validity of the election is not related to the fact that it prevents or hinders the swearing-in of the president in any way, – says prof. Eva Letovska, retired judge of the Constitutional Court.

– If the term of office of the current president expires on August 6, this is the last day that the newly elected president should be sworn in, – notes Dr. Monika Hachkovska, a constitutional expert.
In any case, no one recognizes the decision of the “newly formed chamber”, which is said to be in power. After the election, if the PiS candidate loses, the reform of the justice system will begin.
