IMWM has issued a meteorological warning forecast. Windy weather will return in the coming days. However, hydrological warnings are in effect in parts of the country.
Meteorologists of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management announced a weather warning forecast for the coming days.
IMWM Threat Forecast for Sunday
Although the IMWM does not intend to issue a warning on Saturday, the following voivodeships have a first-level wind warning in place on Sunday: Pomeranian Voivodeship (Słupsk County, Lebork County, Wejherowo County, Puck County, Gdynia, Sopot, Gdańsk, Gdańsk County Novi-Dvor) and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (Elblag poviat, Elblag, Branievo).
Hydrological warnings
A hydrological warning has been announced due to strong winds. Level 2 warnings are in effect on the Eastern coast and in the internal waters of the Republic of Poland at the regional level. Pomerania – there, the water level is expected to rise to the high water level, in places above the warning level. Promotion ends on Saturday 17.
Yellow warnings have also been issued, which are in effect on the West Coast and in the inland waters of the province. West Pomeranian Voivodeship, on the Vistula Lagoon and in the catchment area of the Vistula Lagoon to Nogat. Water levels are expected to rise to the high water zone there and the alert level is higher in the area. All notices expire on Saturday 15.

What is IMWM First Class Warning?
The first-level warning foresees favorable conditions for the emergence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that cause material losses and threaten health and life. Doing business under the influence of these factors is difficult and dangerous. Problems caused by activities in the hazardous area, including delays due to traffic disruptions, disruptions to outside events or possible cancellations. Caution is advised, the need to follow messages and developments in the weather situation.
