The issue of PiS subsidy remains unresolved. On Wednesday, Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski asked the National Election Commission to explain the December 30 decision on the PiS committee’s financial report. Patrik Michalski, host of the WP “Tłit” program, asked Equality Minister Katarzyna Kotula “how to get out of this impasse”. – Law and justice have led to such legal chaos that today we really have to make a lot of effort so that everything is done according to the law and no one accuses us and the finance minister of avoiding or breaking the law. the law, because we want to do everything according to the letter, – answered Kotula. The speaker asked what will happen if, according to the new decision of the National Election Commission, the head of the Ministry of Finance has to pay PiS? – This is the minister’s decision, but I also know that wise people think about what can happen today and write a scenario based on the law, – she said. He also assessed that the decision of the National Electoral Commission of December 30 “does not have legal validity” because the second clause does not match the first clause. – Promulgating a decision that actually describes every possible scenario and letting the responsibility for making that decision slip away in favor of the finance minister puts the head of the National Electoral Commission in a very bad position. – said the minister. The program also mentioned that two members of the National Electoral Commission, appointed by the Civil Alliance, refused to vote. They explained that this decision was the result of their opinion that the Control Chamber was illegal. – Being a member of such an institute imposes a certain responsibility on these members, said Kotula. – Maybe they are afraid that PiS will return to power and then they will hear accusations, – suggested the journalist. – Exactly. I would like to say that maybe I don’t have enough courage to make a clear and transparent decision, which is understandable to everyone, she answered. The head of the equality department noted that it was PiS that decided on the composition of the National Election Commission. – Today, PiS can blame itself for this change, because it was an attempt to politicize the National Election Commission, – she said.
