A resident of Liguria found a letter to Santa Claus that was carried in the wind and attached to balloons. It includes the request of a two-year-old girl from Como province for a bicycle. The man decided to do it. Together with some of his friends, he traveled about 300 kilometers, found the child and gave him a gift.
On Sunday “La Stampa” wrote that “Santa Claus exists and lives in Calizzano” tells the story of Gianni Rasetto. An Italian who lives in Calizzano, a small town in Liguria, found a letter addressed to Santa a few days ago. It was written on behalf of Alice, a two-year-old girl from Alzat Brianza in the province of Como.
Alice asked Santa Claus for a bicycle. A letter with a girl's wish was attached to two balloons. Thanks to this, he traveled almost 300 kilometers and reached the hands of Gianni Rasetto. The man found him in front of his chicken house.
He decided to play Santa Claus
After reading the letter, Rasetto went to a local bar and showed the letter to other residents in the area. “This is how the crazy plan was born,” describes “La Stampa”. As the newspaper writes, “Santa Claus” got a bicycle as part of this campaign and together with three “trustworthy elves” traveled about 300 kilometers to reach Alzat Brianza and presented the gift to the girl.
A local utility worker helped Alice find a place to live. The girl took the bike she asked for. His parents were surprised – concludes “La Stampa”.
