The owner of the company noticed the thief in the surveillance and called the police. They didn't have to chase him. He was there, lying on a chair, and next to him were the spoils of his consumption – bottles of alcohol.
A 40-year-old man joined one of the companies in Raciborz, Silesian Voivodeship. He found food items including alcohol in the office.
“The robber decided to taste his booty, but he ate too much and fell asleep. But waking up was not very pleasant,” explains the police.
The robber is sleeping on the chair
The owner of the company noticed the thief on surveillance and called the police. Officers found the perpetrator at the scene. He was lying on the couch with empty alcohol bottles while drinking alcohol.
A 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to the police station. A breathalyzer test showed that he had about two parts per million of alcohol in his body. He is accused of robbery in court. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
