VISALIA – The Lifestyle Magazine story is currently in the midst of major changes as parent companies 4Creeks and 4CG Construction search for a new owner to carry on the publication's traditions.
After three years of serving the Tulare County community, Lifestyle Magazine has announced that with its August 2024 issue, it is time to pass the baton to a new owner interested in continuing the publication's 20-plus year tradition.
“We are seeking the right person or group to acquire Lifestyle Magazine and continue our vision of 'Inspiring Living for Our Community,'” the announcement read. “This opportunity requires the right combination of vision, passion and care, and the rewards of this work go far beyond financial gain.”
The magazine isn't the only one spinning off from the company: In an “Editor's Opinion” piece published in the July 2024 issue of Lifestyle magazine, editor Eric Reilly said that at the end of July, 4Creeks and 4CG Construction decided to end all outside marketing services provided by Topograph.
Reilly wrote that the decision was made to refocus the company's efforts on growing 4CG Construction and 4Creeks' core services in the architecture, engineering and construction industries.
Despite the two companies eliminating their marketing services, Riley wrote that he expects the lifestyle magazine will continue to serve the region under the leadership of its new owners.
“Lifestyle magazine has been a staple publication in our community for the past 20 years, and we hope that someone with the same values and passion for Tulare County will continue that tradition,” Riley wrote.
After confirming that this would be his final letter as Lifestyle's editor, Riley expressed his gratitude to the magazine's readers and storytellers who encouraged him and the entire Lifestyle team throughout the magazine's run.
“It's an incredible honor when people stop me on the street to tell me how much they appreciate our lifestyle magazine and when local businesses tell me how our articles and ads have helped grow their business,” Riley wrote.
