In the afternoon of Friday, a fire broke out in a car in Rabka-Zdroj (Lesser Poland Voivodeship). A man was lying next to the car, said Sub-inspector Katarzyna Silo of the Malopolska police press team. The emergency workers who were called to the scene could not save him.
– We received information from random witnesses of the incident that a car caught fire in Rabka-Zdroj, on Novi Shvyat street, near the river, and a person was lying next to it, – reported sub-inspector Silo. According to him, firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the car fire, but they could not help the man.

The spokesperson added that this car has the registration number of the neighboring Myślenice County. The police will identify the man. The District Prosecutor of Novi Targ and police officers of the district headquarters worked on the scene.
– The body of this man was provided for examination at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Krakow. A fire expert is investigating the cause of the fire, Sub-Inspector Silo added.
