Doctors are fighting for the life of a 12-year-old girl who drowned in the swimming pool of Mielek in Podkarpackie. The girl stayed under the tank for a few minutes. The child is in a medically induced coma.
The incident happened on Saturday evening in the swimming pool of the City Sports and Entertainment Center (MOSiR) on the street of ul. Solski in Mielec. One of the women who was bathing saw that a girl was lying at the bottom, at a depth of two meters.

Life threatening condition
– Our findings show that the child was lying down for several minutes. The woman informed the lifeguard, who pulled the 12-year-old girl out of the water. Then, the girl was taken to the Rzeszow hospital by the emergency team. His condition is life-threatening, the subordinate told us. Bernadette Krawczyk, Mielec police press officer.

According to Krawczyk, the girl was with her family in the swimming pool. – Investigative work is ongoing. We will, among other things, check in what condition the girl found herself downstairs. All witnesses will be interrogated, the speaker emphasized.
The pool where the accident happened is two meters deep, 15 meters wide and 25 meters long. MOSiR’s website indicates that it is a sports pool, not a swimming pool.
