With the change of date, we will have some other news. New cities appear on the map of Poland: Konskovola, Kurov and Wawolnica in the Pulawy County. Lublin Province; Casanov in Zwolen Province, Masovian Voivodeship; Kobylnica in the Slupski District of Pomerania; Sobkow in Jedrzejew County, Świętokrzyskie Province; Zaniemyśl in Środa County in Greater Poland.

The A1 highway will be tolled again. Drivers of cars and motorcycles pay a fee to use it.
From January 1 to June 30, 2025, Poland holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union. The representatives of the country holding the presidency, both at the level of ministers and at the level of experts, are responsible for setting the agenda of the meetings of the individual bodies of the Council of the European Union and conducting negotiations between the member states.
Not everyone celebrates at the same time
The first incident occurred at 11:00 Polish time on Tuesday, midnight on the island of Kiritimati, which belongs to the 33rd Pacific island nation of Kiribati. It is almost on the equator and the date line runs along it. Kiritimati is one of the three settlements of Poland.

The last celebrants will be the Americans, who will celebrate it only on Wednesday morning Polish time.
