Norwegian fuel company Haltbakk Bunkers has announced an immediate halt of delivery for American troops and warships moored at Norwegian ports. The decision came after a sharp exchange of sentences between Donald Trump and Wowodymill Zernsky. According to the White House company, there will be a “television show” where “someone will stick a knife on his back.”
Haltbakk Bunkers Company has made a statement on social media that accused Donald Trump and JD Vance of repeating verbal attacks on Wołodymyr Zelanski and misinformation about the war in Ukraine.

At the same time, the company congratulated Zelanski with mastery and restraint, claiming that the US had “organised a television show where someone stuck a knife on their back.”

“As a result, we decided to immediately stop delivering ships calling Norwegian US troops and Norwegian ports. There is no fuel for the Americans!” – the company said it is asking other Norwegian and European fuel suppliers to follow in their footsteps.
Gunnar Gran, owner of Haltbakk Bunkers, later reiterated the company’s position in an interview with Norwegian portal Kisterns Næringsliv. He said “also liters” of fuel will be delivered to the US military “until Trump stops.”

-We run a private limited liability company and choose our clients – Gran added that his company had previously banned the sale of fuel to Russian groups after the Moscow invasion of Ukraine. – We lost a lot of income, but we have a moral compass. Now, the US is being ruled out because of its actions against Ukrainians – he said.
Norway and the US cooperation
Norwegian Defense Minister tore Sandvik apart and assured that the US military will continue to receive full logistics support from the country.

Norway, as a key member of NATO, often organizes joint military exercises with US military and alliances. This puts fuel supply shutdowns in place is a potential logistical challenge for American maritime operations in the region.
