Source: TVN24 A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murdering his mother and violating the integrity of his father’s body. He was arrested on Christmas Eve after police intervened near Ostroleka in connection with a domestic dispute. The findings of the investigators show that this man brutally attacked a 61-year-old woman – according to the court’s decision, he should not approach her.

On the morning of Christmas Eve, around 4.40 am, officers from the municipal police station in Ostroleka were called to a domestic disturbance. They are Robert D., a resident of the town of Kruki near Ostroleka. Their findings showed that the man was very angry with his mother – Zofia D.
– he grabbed the woman, then threw her on the floor, punched her in the face and body, kicked her in the head, body and legs, and repeatedly hit her in the chest with a screwdriver. On the same day, he also violated the physical integrity of his father Rizard D. by kicking him in the back, – says the prosecutor Elzbieta Edita Lukasevic, the spokesperson of the Ostroleka District Prosecutor’s Office.

Investigators say that the detainee did not comply with the court’s order to leave the joint building of his mother, as well as the ban on approaching and contacting the victim. – The restrictions were imposed by the Ostroleka District Court with the judgment of June 21, 2023, and are valid from February 15, 2024 to February 14, 2026, – says prosecutor Lukasevic. This man was sentenced to half a year in prison for insulting his mother.
The suspect’s mother was seriously injured
Robert D. was brought to the prosecutor’s office, where he was charged. According to this speaker, this man is planning to kill Zofia D.’s mother. and is accused of inflicting physical injuries on him in the form of several broken bones, a ruptured kidney, swelling and blood on the head and violation of the integrity of the body. from the father of Ryszard D.
– He committed these crimes on the basis of returning to the crime, that is, the so-called repetition of the crime. Moreover, he was also accused of violating the prohibitions and court orders established by the Ostroleka District Court – adds the prosecutor.

The suspect pleaded not guilty to the crimes he was accused of.
The Ostroleka district court agreed to the request of the prosecutor to apply pre-trial detention to the suspect for a period of three months. This man faces life imprisonment and deprivation of public rights.
