We will wait for the proposals of the media regarding the organization of the presidential debates, – said Minister of Sports Slavomir Nitras in cooperation with Rafal Trzaskovski, who is a presidential candidate, on TVN24 TV in “Facti po factach”. In his opinion, there should be at least one such debate before the first round and at least one before the second round.
Sports Minister Sławomir Nitras, who is close to Rafal Trzaszkowski, who is running for the presidency, was asked on TVN24’s “Fakti po Factach” about possible electoral disputes or debates before the presidential elections scheduled for May.

– Before Jacek Kurski came to public television (during the PiS government, he was the head of TVP – ed.) a permanent mechanism was developed, probably respected by all, in which candidates for the invitation of the largest television stations, which tried to conduct they had such programs, they responded. joint discussion – he reminded. He added that “restoring democracy means, among other things, returning to journalists what belongs to journalists.”
Nitrous in the presidential debate: we await the proposal
– In my opinion, I can make a statement on behalf of my team – the team of Rafal Trzaskovsky, that we are waiting for an offer, preferably (from – the editor) of all three major Polish television stations, – Nitras said.
– I believe that in the first round there should be a debate in which all registered candidates will participate, (…), at least one such debate will take place. And at least one such discussion should take place in the second round, he continued.
– Maybe in the first round there were more arguments, I don’t know. Here I will leave the initiative in your hands, in the hands of your editors and other major stations of free Polish television, – he addressed the host of the program, Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska.
He also stated that, in his opinion, the best date for the first round of elections would be May 11. – So it does not interfere with any holiday or break. These may be more reasonable dates, but the decision here, of course, belongs to Marshal Shimon Holounia, he added.
