Prince William warns Prince Harry's 'lavish' lifestyle puts his inheritance at risk
Prince William is reportedly worried about what Prince Harry will do with all of his inheritance.
According to Woman's Day magazine, Prince Charles fears his inheritance could “evaporate in an instant” because of the “lavish” life Prince Harry is living in the US with his wife Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex is set to inherit a large fortune from a trust set up by Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Mother, on his 40th birthday next month.
“Prince William has seen how lavish their lifestyle is and has no doubt that the money will disappear quickly,” a source told the magazine.
Sources say future King William believes Meghan Markle was behind Prince Harry's decision to leave royal duties and move to America.
A source said: “He never in a million years expected his brother to give up his job, move to America and try to establish himself as a Hollywood celebrity, which is why he believes Meghan is behind it all.”
“The idea of Harry squandering his inheritance after disrespecting his family and his devotion to the Royal Family is beyond William's tolerance,” they added.
