During his visit to Paris, the head of Polish diplomacy, Radoslaw Sikorski, stated that the owner of the X website, Elon Musk, is trying to influence the elections in Great Britain. He emphasized that it is illegal to influence elections from abroad in Poland.
French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday accused the owner of the X website, Elon Musk, of supporting “reactionary internationalism” and meddling in political processes in Europe.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Ghar Stur also expressed his opinion on Monday that Musk’s interference in political processes in other countries could undermine the trust of Western allies.

Sikorsky: We must prepare to protect our democratic process
Sikorski was asked if Elon Musk wanted to influence, among other things: for the presidential election in Poland, he replied that it was a good question for Musk. “They seem to be doing it already in the UK,” he said.

“It is illegal to influence Polish elections from abroad in Poland,” said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “We must be ready to protect our democratic process so that Poles elect our president, not foreigners,” he added.

To the question whether Poland and France still hope to conclude an agreement with the Mercosur bloc of South American countries, and whether there are countries that want to support such a position, Sikorski answered: – Italy’s position is important here, because we are together with Italy. an inhibiting minority that would be a very effective means of pressure to improve this agreement.

At the end of his visit to Paris, the minister said that he was greatly impressed by the reconstructed Notre-Dame cathedral. – The cleaning of these huge surfaces of old medieval stone was done by a Polish company (…), it did a fantastic job, we can be proud of it – emphasized Sikorsky.
