The convention will offer two psychedelic retreats, free psychedelic and ketamine consultations, and will donate 100% of proceeds to veterans in need of ketamine and psychedelic therapy. This pivotal event will focus on addressing the urgent issue of veteran suicide.
The Convention is the American Legion's highest annual meeting, bringing together delegates from all 55 chapters in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Latin America and the Philippines. These delegates are empowered to amend the Legion's constitution and rules, establish major programs, set membership dues and elect national leaders.
Central to the convention's agenda is the “Be the One” campaign, which seeks to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health treatment. The goal of the campaign is to reduce the devastating statistic of 22 veteran suicides per day by encouraging veterans, service members, their families and civilians to identify and respond when veterans are at risk.
As part of the sponsorship, Revitalist CEO Kathryn A. Walker will be on-site with her dedicated team to provide a variety of health-related services, including vitamin infusions, mushroom supplements and educational materials, including Kathryn's book, “Inflamed: Theory.” All proceeds from these services will go directly toward supporting ketamine and psychedelic treatment for veterans, highlighting Revitalist's commitment to improving the health and well-being of our nation's heroes.
