An unusual incident happened in Rogoznica-Kolonia (Lublin province). The cow, which ran into the street, was hit by the drivers of a truck and a Toyota car that were standing on its roof after the collision. The animal did not survive. The owner of the cow was fined.
The incident happened on Thursday (January 16) around 20:20 on the Rogoznica-Kolonia national railway in Lublin poviat. According to the police, the driver of the Volvo truck hit the cow, which “suddenly went on the road”, and the animal was then hit by the driver of the Toyota truck behind the truck, which overturned after the collision. Unfortunately, the animal did not survive the collision with two cars.

The truck was driven by a 46-year-old man, and the driver of the car was a 64-year-old man. The drivers of the cars were alert, which was confirmed by the inspection conducted by the officers in military uniform. “A 64-year-old man was taken to the hospital with injuries. Fortunately, his injuries were not serious,” the police reported.
According to the police, the cow escaped from the barn. The owner of the animal was fined.
“The owner is responsible for the damage caused by the animal,” reminds the police.
