On Wednesday, the opening ceremony of the American anti-missile base was held in Redzikovo. Officially, the base is managed by the US Navy, whose soldiers are already stationed there. The opening of the military facility took place after 8 years of construction and 16 years of decision making. – Of course, I am very happy that this base has become a reality and I am glad that it happened, – PiS politician Jacek Sasin said in the WP “Tłit” program. – It must be admitted that I would prefer the ministers of the government of law and justice to be on the side of the president, but we cannot be offended by reality. This is what the guest of the program said. Sasin showed that “you cannot run away from the facts, because this does not mean that this base should be built.” “It was years of effort and years of action,” said the PiS politician. He recalled that efforts to cover Poland with an anti-missile shield were made during the government of Jarosław Kaczynski. – During the government of Donald Tusk, a crisis occurred in these efforts. Finally, it was President Obama's decision to abandon the project. Polish diplomacy under the leadership of Tusk and Sikorski has failed in this matter, he said. – It is good that this base was implemented, because I agree that this is a guarantee that Russia will show its hand from Poland, because Poland is covered by the American security system, – concluded the guest of the program.
