Fragments of the roof of a train station in Novi Sad, Serbia have collapsed. N1 TV's Serbian portal reported that at least one person was killed. “We deeply regret that this tragedy occurred in Novi Sad,” the mayor said.
Serbian media reported that part of the roof of the station's main entrance had collapsed. Rescue operations are underway at the scene. Probably many people were injured.

Serbian portal site Nova.rs reported that 30 people were injured. “This is the last number we have, but it could be much higher,” a medical official said.
Novi Sad Mayor Milan Djuric and Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dačić were present at the scene. Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Besic has suspended a work visit to Montenegro and is on his way to the scene of the incident.
“We deeply regret that this tragedy occurred in Novi Sad,” the mayor said.
– At the moment, all our attention is focused on providing assistance to all those affected by this accident, – he added.
