Jordanian citizens heard the allegations after trying to open the doors of planes that have flew from Malaysia to Australia twice. The man acted aggressively and did not respond to service requests. He was overwhelmed by other passengers and crew.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening. A 46-year-old man traveled through Asia from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Sydney, Australia. During the flight, he tried to open the door to leave the plane.

“The man was later said to have been overwhelmed by his crew and passengers, and during that time he attacked an airline employee,” Australian Federal Police said in a statement.
The incident was notified of the relevant services and as soon as the plane landed, Jordanian citizens were detained. On Saturday, he was accused of exposing the safety of the aircraft and attacks on members of the On-Board staff. Each of these acts is punished by imprisonment for up to 10 years.

The man will be standing in front of Parramatta’s district court on Sunday.
“The man’s actions could have had tragic consequences and passengers and aircraft staff should not be forced to tolerate the mischievous, aggressive and dangerous behavior of ship aircraft,” said Davina Copelin of the Australian Federal Police.

The Australian Federal Police added that they would not hesitate to use security measures in similar circumstances. “Police will not hesitate to take action against people committing criminal acts on aircraft, especially if such actions could potentially threaten the safety of passengers, crews, or the flight itself,” police said.
