The end of the year is approaching. It's time to summarize the most important and interesting topics that our reporters have broadcasted on “Facti po Poludnyu” TV. Among them is health, especially our spines and their fractures. It happens that the symptoms of such an injury are not clear and are not always recognized at first glance. Who are they most likely to affect and what is the diagnosis?

When thinking about the near and distant future, let's answer what physically active children have to say – experts warn. – It is necessary to listen to the pain. If a child says that their back hurts, don't hit them, turn on the light – says Dr. Krzysztof Guzowski, physiotherapist from Easy Clinic.
Although a child who complains of constant pain is moving and unable to function, it may turn out to be a fractured spine. We can talk, for example, about spondylolisthesis. It often occurs in the two lowest vertebrae – the fourth and fifth.

– In the art of physiotherapy, it is a mistake that if something hurts, it is necessary to move it and adjust the spine in some way. These are the things that sometimes end tragically and make the situation worse – says Krzysztof Guzowski.
The spine is in motion and does not have time to heal, and in the case of spondylolisthesis, the time for physiotherapy treatment comes later. Mr. Conrad began with breathing exercises. Two years after the diagnosis, he was completely healthy. Today he swims, rides a bike and kitesurfs. Skateboarding has been discontinued.
