The night sky brightened up for a moment, and then the residents of Tarnov heard a loud noise, which sounded like a signal in some cars. Monika Darnobyt, spokesperson of Grupa Azoti, says that there was an explosion in the heating center in Tarnov. – No one was injured, anti-explosion systems were activated – he said.
The moment of the explosion was recorded by surveillance cameras obtained by the reporters of the Tarnov Rescue Portal. Based on signals from residents, they reported that the sound of the explosion was so loud that many people ran outside to wonder what was going on. The sound should have been heard in a radius of more than 30 kilometers from the city center.

Protections have been activated
– We know that this incident caused a lot of concern for the residents, so I strongly emphasize it. This incident has not and will not affect the safety of residents in any way – said the spokesperson in an interview with tvn24.pl.
He added that at a critical moment, the anti-explosion protection was activated, which caused a cloud of dust to burst into flames. – As a result of this incident, there was no waste and no one was injured, – said Darnobyt. – The only consequence of this incident is the need to reassemble parts of the anti-explosion system.
