Advice is committed to continuing to provide free school meals to children during the Easter holidays.
Students of primary and secondary schools in the Herefordshire who are entitled to free meals related to services will receive good to cover the cost of lunch during the school break.
Carole Gandy, from the Herefordshire Council, said: “The increase in the cost of living is very difficult for many people.
“This additional support is really important for families with children who can have financial difficulties.”
The vouchers, worth £ 30, are funded by the support fund of the Council households, which comes from the Ministry of Labor and Pensions (DWP). The assistance fund aims to help any vulnerable person or who cannot pay for essential elements.
Goods will be provided directly in schools, while children who are not at school and authorized to the early childhood bonus will receive them in the position.
The Council said that more than 4,700 students would benefit from the Easter diet.
Currently, eligible families must request free school meals from their children, although a group of deputies has recently called to register automatically.
