The Chairman of the National Election Commission Sylvester Marciniak announced on Monday that “the National Election Commission, following the decision of the Supreme Court, accepted the financial report of the PiS committee for the 2023 parliamentary elections.” According to him, out of 9 members of the National Election Commission, four voted in favor of the approval of such a resolution, three were opposed and two were neutral.
In mid-December, the Extraordinary Control and Public Relations Chamber of the Supreme Court, which has been questioned by European tribunals among others, accepted PiS’s appeal against the rejection of a previous report by the National Electoral Commission.
Kalish noted that he requested that on Monday, he submitted a request to review the paragraph of the adoption of the report of the Election Committee on Law and Justice due to the current decision of the National Electoral Commission from December 16 to suspend the review until the legal situation. this chamber will be resolved in the Supreme Court. “The chairman put it to a vote,” he said.
“We lost, I lost,” added a member of the National Election Commission, referring to the decision to accept PiS’s financial report. – I have always been against the recognition of the judgments of the Chamber of Public Affairs and extraordinary supervision. I voted in the same way today, he said.
