We wholeheartedly support the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, but again – anyone can help with whatever they want. For millions of us, this day, played by the great Christmas charity orchestra, is one of the most joyous and unifying days of the year. Children saved by WOŚP are now helping to save other children. This is a beautiful Polish story. On Thursday, the police arrested a man who threatened to kill Yurek Owiak.
The man who threatened Jerzy Oswiak confessed and expressed regret.
– This was motivated by reading one of the reports in Telewizja Republika, in which Jerzy Owsiak was shown in a bad light, – says Piotr Skiba from the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office. The man who spoke on the phone about the shooting of Jerzy Owsiak testified freely about what he saw there and what motivated him.
Telewizja Republika even presented someone as an expert on Ovsiak and competent in the field of charity. – The sanctity of Yurek Ovsiak is being called into question, – said Robert Bakevich, the former head of the Independence March association, on Republican Television.

“We must oppose the tearful stories and support Telewizja Republika”
– Jurek and the orchestra save so many lives, children. They help people to live. So how can you go against something like this? – asks Anna Dymna, actress and president of the “Despite everything” Foundation.
“Facti” TVN calls to support the efforts of Anna Dimna and wholeheartedly support the Great Christmas Charity Orchestra. Republika TV calls on people not to support it and to pay its reporters.
– We have to oppose tearful stories and support Telewizja Republika, – said the presenter of Republic TV.
Someone like this really saves the sickest – the youngest and the oldest – sob stories. “Fact” TVN, which wholeheartedly supports WOŚP, also calls to support the foundation of Malgorzata Chmielewska.
– This creates an immediate counter-reaction, that is, Jurek, I hope, collects more – explains sister Malgorzata Chmielewska, president of the Foundation “Houses of the Community of the Bread of Life”.

On the Republika TV, while discouraging the orchestra, they even went so far as to remember Pawel Adamowicz – a victim of political hate murder – during the orchestra’s finale, which was supported by the mayor of Gdańsk.

The widow of the murdered president of Gdańsk, Magdalena Adamowicz, wrote that in her opinion, there is nothing sacred in Kaczynski’s political hatred and the media executioner he uses. He wrote it in response to hate and threats against Jerzy Owiak.
– Hatred and threats against those who contribute to the improvement of our lives are not and will never be accepted, – said Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, the mayor of Gdańsk.
– I appeal: don’t donate a single zloty to Jerzy Owsiak’s Great Christmas Charity Orchestra – said Janusz Kowalski, the representative of law and justice at Republic Television.
– Of course, we all express solidarity with the Great Orchestra, that’s why today’s heart is on my shirt, – said Rafal Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw and a candidate for the president of Poland, about the heart sticker.
“We had a time when we could finally choose”
In Telewizja Republika, the hosts discourage the orchestra and convince them to pay them. – No to sob stories. I am a supporter of freedom of speech, a supporter of brave journalists, said one of them.

The former leader of the political cabinet, Michal Wojcik from PiS, who made such remarks during the debate about Jerzy Ovsiak, is presented as a journalist on Republika TV.
– We had time to choose. At one point I am accused of hatred and bad speech. Monica Rutke said that the activity could be inspected and viewed closely.
In fact, the words “deal” were used there – in the discussion about Jerzy Owsiak. And when it comes to checking and controlling his activities, all services of all Polish governments could do it. They did this and found no violations.
