Rafal is a strong man. – There was no indication that he would fight such a monster, – says Anna Szwajgiel, Rafal's mother. This monster is a disease. Atrophy of spinal muscles. The first signs of the child appeared at the age of one and a half. Today he is seven years old and still fighting.
Rafal receives a drug that will stop the disease, but it has already destroyed his body. He dreams of walking independently one day, but the equipment and rehabilitation are spent as much as possible. – It's not easy to ask for help, but we don't do it for ourselves, – emphasizes Anna Schweigiel.
Pizarbacha is a department of the TVN Foundation, which together with the program “Uvaga!” launches joint Christmas campaign. During the next five weeks, every week the reporters of “Attention!” they show the story of young warriors. The final ceremony is scheduled for December 17.

A family from Krakow has been facing difficulties for years. Paula was born sick. – My dream is to walk, – said Paula Bogač in 2011. This dream has not yet come true, but she is still electrified. – As they say, I smile from ear to ear, – says Paula Bogac.
When the girl was six years old, her father, who now uses a wheelchair, fell ill. The cost of treatment and rehabilitation of two people in the family was unaffordable. – Fortunately, the Foundation and people who only help stood in our way, – says Agnieszka Bogac, Paulina's mother.
Thanks to your support, our viewers, such families are not alone and it is easier for them. – Healthy people who are in good condition sometimes look for problems, but in our case, when a problem arises, we have to deal with it and then be happy, – says Tomas Bogach, Paula's father.
The TVN Foundation not only supports the treatment and rehabilitation of specific people, but also hospitals. He donated more than PLN 8 million to rebuild a building in Nisa after the flood.

– We are buying a stationary computerized tomography scanner, we are buying an X-ray, we are buying a new ambulance, – says the director of the regional hospital of the city of Nisa, Artur Kaminski.
At the beginning of next year, the TVN Foundation will open the Children and Adolescent Psychiatry and Oncology Center. – A very modern and beautiful building, which will be a warm and caring place for our young patients – assures Zuzanna Lewandowska, president of TVN Foundation.
