Across its highly acclaimed academic campus, UAB’s graduate programs continue to shine.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham has consistently demonstrated the robustness of its graduate programs, as evidenced by its high performance in past and current U.S. News & World Report graduate school rankings.
UAB's School of Nursing, School of Engineering, School of Business and School of Medicine programs are highly ranked in the U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings for 2025. The full rankings can be found online at www.usnews.com.

Of the key rankings included in this year's report (compiled from data submitted by schools, quality ratings from peers and experts, and public data), the following UAB programs stood out:
The School of Nursing's Master of Science in Nursing program was ranked 10th, marking the second time the MSN program has made the top 10. Additionally, the school's Doctor of Nursing Practice program was ranked 11th, its highest DNP ranking since at least 2019.
UAB's Collat School of Business's Master of Business Administration program ranked 98th, making it the highest-ranked school recognized in Alabama.
Rankings of recognized specialties in the 2024 report highlighted the diversity of programs offered by graduate schools on UAB’s campus.
