Vitaly Klitschko, the mayor of Ukraine, reported on social networks that one person was killed and four were injured after a Russian drone crashed into a multi-storey building in the capital of Ukraine.
On Friday evening, an unmanned aircraft crashed into a building in the Solomiya district, one of the districts of the right bank of Kyiv, which is located in the west and center of the city.

Klitschko wrote on social networks: “As a result of the attack of a drone of the Russian army on Kyiv in the Solomansk region, a fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building.” He noted that the fire spread to the apartments on the upper floors of the skyscraper.
The head of the Kyiv military administration, Serhiy Popko, announced that more than 100 residents were evacuated from the skyscraper, and the injured were treated on the spot. “The apartments from the 17th to the 21st floors were damaged,” he added.
Popko said that pieces of the drone also fell in the open field, but there were no reports of casualties.
