Duchess Kate attended a memorial service at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday evening. Reuters reports that this is his first appearance after undergoing chemotherapy.
Buckingham Palace has announced that the Princess of Wales will attend Remembrance Day services this weekend. The Festival of Remembrance is an annual concert held in memory of those who died in the First World War.
Kate appeared at the Royal Albert Hall in a black dress adorned with red poppies, a symbol of respect for those who died in war. She was accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and other members of the royal family. Princess Camila did not attend the event. Charles III's wife temporarily withdrew from public affairs due to illness.
Kate's cancer
Kate is gradually returning to government duties after completing cancer treatment. The Princess of Wales announced in September that she had completed chemotherapy, but her road to a full recovery will be long. This 42-year-old woman announced that she will participate in several public performances at the end of the year.
The Prince of Wales recently called last year the “best year” of his life after both his wife and father were diagnosed with cancer. “I'm proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father that they did it,” Prince William told reporters at the end of his visit to South Africa. – But from a personal, family point of view, it was terrible, – he added.

Buckingham Palace revealed in February that the monarch has cancer and is undergoing treatment. Just six weeks later, it was announced that the Princess of Wales was undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer. The King has now returned to state duties and Kate has completed chemotherapy.

Memorial Day
Memorial Day on November 11 is a holiday celebrated in the Commonwealth of Nations in honor of soldiers killed in wars. It is dedicated to the signing of the agreement ending the First World War on November 11, 1918 (at 11:00). At 11:00, a two-minute silence will be announced to honor the victims. This day is also called poppy day because of the traditions of wearing poppies on clothes as a sign of remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday is also celebrated every year. It usually falls on the second Sunday of November.
