Trump has signed restrictions excluding trans athletes from women’s sports competitions

Through him, trans athletes do not participate in sports competitions for girls and women. The ordinance signed by Donald Trump provides, among other things, blocks federal funds for American educational institutions that allow biological men in women’s sports competitions.
Additionally, the US internal security department can refuse to publish American visas for male athletes with gender changes. “The regulations signify the end of the fight for women’s sports,” the White House host emphasized, “that had to be done a long time ago.”

As White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday, Trump hopes that the American Olympic Committee and the Sports Association will no longer allow men to participate in women’s sports.

But she didn’t answer the question of how Trump’s new laws would affect the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The president also expects immediate actions, including enforcement against schools and sports associations, refusing to perform a single sex sport or the same sex cloak.

Previously, on January 21, Trump signed restrictions to “restore women’s defense against gender ideological extremism and the federal biological truth.” Many changes introduced by previous administrations have been withdrawn, liberalising rules for determining gender in state documents.

The rules establish the principle that US policies are based on two gender perceptions called “rooted in a fundamental, fundamental and incontroversial reality.”
