According to the results coming in, Donald Trump won 266 electoral votes. The number needed to win the US presidential election is 270, but it is currently known that Kamala Harris has 194.
Earlier, the vice president's staff said Kamala Harris would not comment on the results on election night at her alma mater, Howard University. The Democratic candidate is likely to speak Wednesday, in the afternoon or evening Polish time. “Vice President Harris will not speak today, but tomorrow she will address not just her supporters but the American people as a whole,” the Democratic chief of staff said.
On the 7th, Polish time, polling stations in Hawaii, the last of the 50 states in the United States, were closed, marking the end of voting for this year's US presidential election.
