The US election is coming to an end. Votes are counted. It's too early to say who won the presidential race, but Donald Trump's lead over Kamala Harris is clear. Partial results and CNN polls show that the Republican candidate is close to winning 270 electoral votes for the presidency. Here's how the last few hours went over the ocean.
Election night in the US (and night in Poland) began with Kamala Harris being shown as the likely winner in the state of Vermont (3 electoral votes) a few minutes after midnight.
Donald Trump was announced by CNN as the winner in Indiana (11) and Kentucky (8) and a few minutes later in West Virginia (4). So he took a 23:3 lead in the virtual race.
After hours 2. in Poland, the results of the survey have arrived from the following countries. The Republican candidate won in Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and South Carolina, and in total – according to CNN – he already had 105 electoral votes. Florida provided him with up to 30 of them.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris won only Massachusetts, Maryland and the District of Columbia, with 27 electoral votes.
At 3:00 p.m., Trump's tally reached 154 votes – after the probable winner was announced in Texas (40), North Dakota (3), South Dakota (3) and Wyoming (3), and Harris went from 3 to 30. became – after that. announcing his victory in Delaware.
At 3:20, CNN reported that Illinois (19) and Rhode Island (4) had gone blue, and Kamala Harris had 53 voters. Then came New York (28), and his score in the next Electoral College reached 81 votes.

After 5.30 CNN reported that the Republican candidate will win in North Carolina – one of the key so-called swing states. His number reached 227 votes. Kamala Harris won in the states of Oregon and Washington on the west coast of the USA and has already received 165 votes.
At 6. CNN announced that Donald Trump will win at least 3 out of 5 votes in Nebraska and Kamala Harris will win 4 votes in Hawaii. After that, information about 13 votes from Virginia was recorded in the Democratic account. The score was 230:182 in favor of Trump.
