Trump: I think my conversation with Putin will take place soon
Trump also said that he has not yet spoken with Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Republic, but such a conversation is likely to take place soon.
The Russian leader referred to the results of the American elections at the meeting of the Valdai group, which brings together political scientists and experts related to Russia in Sochi.
“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate (Trump) on his election as the President of the United States of America,” Putin said during the question-and-answer session. He said that Trump's behavior during the assassination made a big impression on him. – A brave man came out (…). In my opinion, he behaved very correctly and courageously, as befits a man, he continued.
In response to the question whether he is ready to talk with Trump, Putin answered: – We are ready.
