During a conversation on Platform X with the leader of the right-wing populist party “Alternative for Germany” Alice Weidel, Elon Musk stated that only the AfD party can save Germany. – People should demand change and vote for AfD – said an ally of the US President-elect Donald Trump.
– My advice to Germans is to demand change and vote for the AfD, because only the AfD can save Germany, said billionaire Elon Musk during a conversation on the X platform with the leader of the right-wing party “Alternative for Germany” Alice Weidel.
At the beginning of the conversation, the AfD leader and Musk criticized the government of Chancellor Angela Merkel (2005-2021) and the current ruling coalition led by Olaf Scholz. According to them, they led to the energy crisis in Germany. The interviewees drew attention to the decision to close nuclear power plants, which, in their opinion, has disastrous consequences.

The leader of the AfD emphasized that the media do not want to invite him to the programs of his party and thereby limit the right to freedom of expression. Weidel argued that Hitler came to power by restricting free speech. Moreover, according to her, she was a communist and her party is completely opposite because it promotes “conservative and libertarian” ideas.

Musk and Weidel on the conflict in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip
Criticism of the governments of Merkel and Scholes occupied the main part of the conversation. Weidel said that in the course of it, the topic of “destruction” of the German education system by the previous governments, which was changed according to the “left-wing VOKE” program, came up. Moreover, the politician accused Scholz of “throwing huge sums out of the window” and donating to immigrants.
During the conversation, the subject of Russia’s widespread aggression against Ukraine was also discussed. Weidel told Musk that he sincerely hoped the Trump administration would end the war. The billionaire declared that Ukraine is a smaller country than Russia, so there is no way to win the war and therefore it needs to end.
Weidel admitted that he did not know how to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but assured that his party was “the only defender of the Jews in Germany” because all other groups allowed crimes against them.

Musk: only AfD can save Germany
Musk, the owner of, among other things, Space X, presented his vision of the future of civilization, which, in his opinion, “will end one day.” He explained that the goal of mankind should be to live on other planets. “The first would be Mars,” he said.
Weidel’s conversation with Musk came after the billionaire had been intervening in public debates on the X platform in various countries for some time. On December 20, he wrote that “only the AfD can save Germany.” His comment drew a backlash from the media and politicians, who criticized him for the statement.
A few days later, in an article in the “Welt am Sonntag” newspaper, Musk again expressed his support for this far-right party and assessed that Chancellor Scholz is leading Germany to assassination.
In Germany, the campaign before the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 23 continues.
