A construction worker in the Austrian capital, Vienna, made a surprising discovery. During renovation work, he found a box filled with gold coins. This incredible event took place on Tuesday in an old villa, reports the Heute portal.
The treasure was discovered because the owner of the property decided to renovate it. Recently, our employees have been involved in the following activities: carving on the wall. At one point, one of them noticed a rope sticking out of the concrete. But unfortunately for him, the portal reports that he ignored her.
Vienna. An employee found a hidden treasure. There's a large amount of gold coins inside.
The next day the plumber arrived. He also notices the rope and decides to pull it out. The task was difficult and required the use of the right tools, but it arrived in the mailbox after a while.
After taking it out, he looked inside. Unexpectedly, he discovered a gold coin with the portrait of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on it. According to the discoverer, the entire treasure weighed about 30 kg. It may have been concreted before World War II.
It turned out that they were made of solid gold, and Hoyte said their current value is around 2.3 million euros (about 10 million zlotys). Happy finder is an understatement in this case. Local law requires the property owner to share the treasure with the finder, meaning the installer has become a millionaire.
