Kursk has become the target of a massive attack by an unidentified drone. Witnesses said more than 20 explosions were heard in the city and the fire broke out. A tall residential building was on fire and the garage for the ambulance was destroyed. Local governments say one person was killed as a result of the attack.

“Kursk was attacked by a massive enemy at night,” he read the management of the Kruski district in a statement.
Local operations headquarters claim that one person was killed in the attack and nine others were injured. “Unfortunately, an 85-year-old woman has died. Nine other people were injured, injured, head trauma and burns,” he said.

Authorities say one of the city’s homes was damaged on the eighth and nineth floors, where a fire broke out. Two more skyscrapers were also on fire.

“The drone attack caused damage to three private homes. One of the attacks was directed at an ambulance garage, causing damage to 11 vehicles,” the Kursk operational order said.
The exact scale of the attack is not yet known, but the Russian channel says there have been more than 20 explosions within the city.
The Ukrainian army entered the territory of the Kruski district in August 2024 and occupied many towns. The purpose of the operation was to prevent attacks on the Russian attacks summary circuit. Currently, Kyiv manages a portion of the region and has acquired positions at the border.
