Photos depicted by France/delivered by 2000 Mirage 2000 fighter jets prove themselves in battle
A massive Russian attack helped the fighter jets of the French Mirage 2000 for the first time – the command of the Ukrainian Air Force was notified. As added, the machine arrived in Ukraine a month ago. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rathz said the Mirage 2000 will be a “new element of protection.” The machine received technical improvements before use.
“Fighters, including the F-16 and Mirage 2000 aircraft, were involved in the night’s mission to repel Russian attacks. It is noteworthy that a French fighter who came to Ukraine just a month ago joined for the first time to repel hostile hits,” they notified the Air Force via telegram.
On February 6, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustu Rustu reported that his country received the first French aircraft, the Mirage 2000, and said it would become a “new element of protection of the Ukrainian airline.” Representatives of Kiev’s government did not provide the specific number of fighter jets that Ukraine received.

A report on the French Parliament on the budget shows that Ukraine should receive six Mirages 2000-5 fighter jets out of the 26 available to the French army. The Paris Ministry of Defense has never officially confirmed or denied the number.

However, it is known that the machine has undergone certain technical improvements. In October 2024, Defense Minister Sebastian Reconn said additional equipment and electronic combat for ground attacks could help counteract the potential for intrusive signals.
French portal Avion’s Rendeare notified in January that the machine was fitted to carry the French-UK scalp/storm shadow.
