A special envoy of Middle Eastern Steve Witkov said an agreement with Russia on the war could “emerge” and change relations between the two countries.
Witkov, who spoke with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Friday to a 4.5-hour meeting in St. Petersburg and speaking to his advisors Juli Raszakov and Kili Dmitzlijay, reported the conversation in an interview with FOX News journalist Shaun Hanimy. He said Putin had presented his conditions to achieve a permanent room.

Witkov refused to disclose what Putin had requested, but said the peace deal was primarily related to the “So-Called Five Territories” (the circuit of Ukrainian annexed by Russia), as well as many other issues.

This is a complicated situation that has its roots in some truly problematic things between these two countries – the envoy said. Witkov also spoke about his meeting with Oman’s Foreign Ministry Chief Iran Abbas Aragtim in an interview with Fox News. He also mentions the conditions the US requires regarding restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program, suggesting that Trump is not requesting a complete closure of installations from Tehran. These include limiting the uranium enrichment level to 3.67%. Of the current 60%, this is a return to the terms recorded in the JCPOA nuclear agreement, which Trump retracted during the first period.
Additionally, Witkov said that Iran’s enrichment programme and Rocket Iran need to be thoroughly examined.
