Prince Sussex went to Ukraine on Thursday. This message was only released after the prince left the war.
War in Ukraine. Prince Harry of Lviv. Visited the injured
The purpose of Prince Harry’s visit was to an LVIV clinic where soldiers and civilians who were wounded in the war were treated.
The monarch was accompanied by four veterans from the founded Invictus Games Foundation.
During the visit, the prince met patients and medical staff as well as Natalia Kalmikova, a Ukrainian veteran.
“A visit to Ukrainian superhumans highlights the broader involvement of the Invictus Game Foundation in supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of injured, sick soldiers and veterans, even in the most challenging circumstances,” said Rob Owen, the foundation’s director.
War in Ukraine. British royal activities
Prince Harry is the second member of the royal family to visit Ukraine since the full invasion of Russia. Last year, Kiev visited the Duchess of Edinburgh.
King Charles III hosted the president of Ukraine Voldy Mirzelansky at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk in March.
Harry’s brother William then met with Ukrainian refugees last month during a two-day visit to Estonia.
