Russia is trying to siege Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region and has made progress in the region in recent days. But it is not the attempts to besiege the city that are keeping Ukrainians awake at night. It turns out that the Russian occupiers want to take control of Kiev’s logistics routes. To this end, they shoot at Ukrainian defenders and attack them with drones.
Russia continues its efforts to capture the strategic city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast.
According to the Deep State Project, which analyzes the situation on the front, the Russian invaders have reached the roads and railway tracks southwest of the village of Kotlin and are attempting to reach the town directly.

“This development indicates the enemy’s intention to bypass Pokrovsk and surround it, but this is not the most important issue,” we read in the publication.
According to deep state analysts, the targets of the occupiers in the Pokrovsk region were the logistics routes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The desire to obtain these is evidenced by numerous attacks on Ukrainian positions using, among others: Drone.

“The road from Pavlograd to Pokrovsk is already in a traffic danger zone,” the project’s creators emphasize.

The deep state is also keeping an eye on enemy military activity near the city of Udachny. “This population center could become a base for the region’s occupiers in order to strengthen their movement towards the borders of Donetsk Oblast,” the publication said.
Russian forces are also carrying out anti-aircraft attacks from the inhabited village of Pishtsane to the village of Zvirowe, penetrating the town of Shevchenko. According to DeepState, a “kind of fortress” has been built there as well.
