Ukrainian intelligence services boast that a “groundbreaking operation” was carried out in Dagestan, about 1,500 kilometers from the front lines in Ukraine. For the first time, Kiev forces succeeded in damaging the Russian fleet stationed in the Caspian Sea, the world's largest lake.

In the morning, Ukrainian suicide drones attacked a Russian naval base near the city of Kaspiysk, sources reported. The drone probably hit two ships, Tatarstan and Dagestan, and also damaged a small ship moored in the port.

According to media reports, parts of Moscow's military, including marines, are stationed at the Russian base that was attacked. The attacked fleet was scheduled to carry out a missile attack on Ukraine, and the 177th Infantry Regiment was scheduled to participate in the battles in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
