The last moments of the old year and the very beginning of the new year pass in autumn more than the winter weather and at the same temperature. This is due to the influx of warm air into our part of Europe at this time of year.
However, attention should be paid to the high pressure over the North Atlantic. At the beginning of the week, it will be over Greenland and Iceland, but in the following days it will move to the south, which will stop the movement of warm air masses from west to east and activate the northern circulation, that is, cold Arctic air. Weather for 16 days
For a few more days until Thursday, the weather will be as warm as early December and January. Currently, the temperature in the south of Poland can reach 11 degrees. Later, from January 4, when the Arctic cold moves into central Europe, we can expect a sudden cooling and slightly cold weather almost across the country. The coldest in the east will be -6/-5 degrees, and the warmest in the west and south of Poland will be around 0 degrees. At night, especially in the middle of the month, the temperature can drop to around -12/-10 degrees, the temperature for the next 16 days is next Sunday.
