The Profilaktyka 40 Plus program “does not produce results and is not widespread enough,” Deputy Minister of Health Wojciech Koniecny said on #BezKitu. – You can say that we are not finishing it, but we are changing it, – added Konetsny.
Deputy Minister of Health Wojciech Konieczny (Polish Socialist Party, New Left) asked in the program “#BezKitu” why the ministry wants to stop the Profilaktyka 40 Plus program, he replied that it “does not produce results and is not widespread enough”.
– You can say that we are transforming it (the program – ed.) without finishing it. We are introducing new research opportunities. We are expanding this program to include occupational medicine. This is very important, because for the preventive program to be effective, it must be comprehensive, – said the deputy minister.
He added that “family doctors can still participate in this preventive program.” – We believe that we should first of all focus on the group of people who rarely visit doctors and often do not know about the possibilities of preventive diagnostics, – said Konechny.
He explained that “the previous program was based only on biochemical tests that could be taken from blood” and after the changes made by the Ministry of Health, among other things, mammography tests will be possible. You need a referral from your family doctor or occupational medicine doctor.
– Many people have more contact with a professional medical doctor than with a clinic doctor. Especially when you're in your 30s or 40s. Often people who feel healthy think they don't need to see a doctor. However, they go to a professional doctor, said the guest of #BezKitu.

Project of change in rehabilitation of children. “We will clarify this matter”
The Ministry of Health is also working to regulate access to rehabilitation in hospitals starting next year.
As Anna Radomska-Wilchevska, deputy director of the provincial rehabilitation hospital for children in America (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship), told “Faktom” TV, “1,800 people are waiting in line, and 90 percent of these children cannot be treated. inpatient rehabilitation”.

The deputy minister explained in “#BezKitu” that the purpose of the ministry is “to organize the rehabilitation of the house and what happens in rehabilitation institutions”. – The project is under consultation. If there is a mistake, the intention is different and the provision is different, it will certainly be corrected, – assured Konietsny.
He argued that change was needed because “some regulations have been made that are harmful to the patient.” – Of course, the measures that lead to the rehabilitation of children should not be taken into account, – he said.
– I can guarantee that the provision that deprives 90 percent of children of the possibility of rehabilitation will not necessarily come into effect, – added the deputy head of the Ministry of Health.
“If such a big mistake has been made, it will certainly be corrected,” assured the deputy minister.
