Usually, the winter sale started on Friday, the first day after Christmas, and is very popular.
– Shops offer us that it is very cheap, this is a great, rare opportunity, and in fact, it is cheaper than before the holiday. The reason is that the frenzy before Christmas is over and the stores want us to continue shopping, so they lower the prices a little, says Prof. Piotr Krajewski, economist at the University of Lodz.

December is the hottest time of the year for traders. Sales are breaking records. However, this month is very difficult for our wallets.

The slogan “sale” can act like a magnet on us. After the holidays though, most of our budgets are already pretty tight. We spent an average of 1576 PLN during this year’s holidays. This is about 8 percent more than last year.
