Wojciech Wrocna became the new government representative for strategic energy infrastructure, the Ministry of Industry announced. It added that Wrochna was also appointed as the State Secretary of the Ministry.
“Prime Minister Donald Tusk has appointed Wojciech Wrocna as the authorized representative of the government for strategic energy infrastructure. The act of appointment was presented on November 12 this year by the head of the prime minister's office, minister Jan Grabec,” the ministry wrote on the X. platform.
“At the same time, the Prime Minister appointed Voyceh Wrochna to the post of State Secretary of the Ministry of Industry. The candidacy of the deputy minister was proposed by Marzena Czarnecka,” he added.

New government representative on energy infrastructure
As the ministry indicated, Wrochna is a lawyer and an energy expert. From March 2024, he – by Orlen – was appointed vice president of Orlen Synthos Green Energy (OSGE), planning the construction of SMR reactors.
The former authorized representative Machei Bando was not appointed deputy minister of industry due to the transfer of the authorized representative from the Ministry of Climate to the Ministry of Industry, which took place on November 1.
According to the Law, the authorized state representative for strategic energy infrastructure supervises the transmission operators: PSE, Gaz-System and PERN and exercises the rights belonging to the shares of the state treasury. Operators are 100% owned by the state treasury. He is also responsible for Polskie Elektroownie Jądrowe – the future investor and operator of the first nuclear power plant.
