Two people, as seen in a surveillance video released at the Wroclaw Zoo, set off fireworks in front of the park’s fence. “We don’t know what’s in your head to ignore all our appeals and put the animals under such tremendous pressure,” the zoo’s representatives explain.
The Wrocław Zoo has released a recording of the situation that occurred on New Year’s Eve. “Every year we appeal, teach, write, record, ask: DO NOT SHOOT! Despite everything, as you can see in the attached video from our cameras, on New Year’s Eve there were people who had “diamonds”. “The idea to come to the wall of our zoo and set fire to it,” said our door entry

“Fear and sometimes even life-threatening”
The garden drew attention to the distance of the wall from the padlu. “We don’t know how to ignore all our appeals and knowingly expose animals to such enormous pressure. For you it’s an explosion and a momentary flash, but for them – fear, panic and sometimes even a threat to their lives. Seriously, is it that hard to understand?
The representatives of the park appealed to common sense and not to subject the animals to unnecessary stress. “If you have to shoot, choose fireworks without explosions,” park workers are told.
Fortunately, none of the park’s residents were injured, the post said. “Each such situation represents great danger and unnecessary emotion for both the animals and their caretakers,” it said.
