As a result, a family of 14, including four small children, were taken to hospitals after Christmas dinner. A family of fourteen sat down for Christmas dinner together (10 adults aged 28 to 78 and four children aged three, five, seven and nine). After eating Christmas food, they felt sick. Onet reported that they experienced dizziness, balance disturbances and some vomiting.
They thought they had carbon monoxide poisoning
First, the fire brigade and ambulance were called; Based on the symptoms, the family reported carbon monoxide poisoning.
– We received the news on December 24 at approximately 5:00 p.m., the commander found 14 people who had left the building by themselves. Firefighters did not find a fire, and detectors did not detect carbon monoxide. The doctors of the emergency teams at the scene of the incident assumed that the cause of the incident was most likely food poisoning. Ambulances took the family members to the hospital for tests, and it was found that there were traces of marijuana in their bodies.

Police: medical marijuana oil is added to vegetable oil
As our correspondent Adrian Zaborowski told TVN24 on the second day of Christmas, anecdotal information indicates that there is probably an old oil in the house that belonged to his deceased grandmother, and one of the family members put this oil in a dish that everyone ate, he added.
The next day, information about the oil was confirmed by sub-inspector Tomasz Krupa, spokesman for the Podlasie police.
– According to the police, one of the family members used medical marijuana in the form of THC oil. Most likely, this oil was added to the cooking oil, which in turn was used in the preparation of Christmas Eve dishes, he said in front of the TVN24 camera.
The police explain the exact circumstances of the incident. All the people have already left the hospitals.
