YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – U.S. News & World Report has named Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital among its Best Hospitals for 2024-2025 as high-performing hospitals.
St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital was recognized for procedures and conditions related to cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, nephrology, pulmonology and pulmonary surgery, specifically the areas of heart failure, renal failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the highest honor a hospital can earn in the U.S. News Best Hospital Procedure and Condition Ratings.
The annual Procedures and Conditions assessment is intended to help patients and their health care providers make informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions and elective procedures.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. The best-ranked hospitals excelled in factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
